Choosing for your business
Use one inquiry workload while keeping each vendor’s billing unit and required costs visible. Compare subscription fees, native allowances and missing quote components.
Build the monthly cost from its components
A useful support budget starts with the required environment: AI subscription, native usage, human access, underlying helpdesk, channels and setup. Some products bundle several components while others price only the AI layer. The cheapest advertised number can therefore represent a smaller part of the purchase.
Our calculator shows an AI subtotal only when a reviewed monthly tariff, workload conversion, sufficient usage and documented team allowance support it. Full required costs stay unknown until every necessary component is established. A missing number is not a zero.
Understand what the vendor counts
Messages count exchanges or model-weighted output under a defined plan. Credits are a vendor balance consumed by models or actions. Tickets and conversations depend on session or reopening definitions. Outcomes count a vendor-defined result. These units measure different events, even when the same customer request causes all of them.
Do not convert an included allowance into inquiries by changing the label. A conversion needs a documented contract or an explicit assumption for that one product. Resolution-priced products additionally need the relevant outcome mix and commitment. We do not supply a fabricated success rate to make a monthly price appear.
Read the scenario calculation in four steps
First enter monthly inquiries and the human team requiring access. Then choose the relevant model, messages or action counts where the reviewed rule supports them. Next inspect which monthly tariff covers that usage and team. Finally read what remains outside the AI subtotal: platform, channels, setup or an unpriced next block.
The export repeats the calculation at 100, 500 and 2,000 inquiries using the same applied assumptions. It keeps source URLs and unknown totals. This is a sensitivity comparison at current reviewed prices, not a forecast of future pricing or a claim about your measured customer-resolution rate.
Monthly, annual and introductory offers must stay separate
A displayed monthly equivalent can require annual payment. A free trial or initial AI quota may be available only once. A minimum commitment can make a low per-outcome rate unsuitable for a small workload. Those conditions can reverse the apparent cheapest option.
The reviewed numeric tariffs in this comparison use monthly USD commitments. Annual examples are not silently converted into cancellable monthly plans. For example, the approved Lyro pricing evidence treats the first free AI conversations as an initial allowance, not a permanent monthly budget.
Compare native-unit economics without claiming a cost per resolution
On a tariff page, a published base divided by its included allowance can describe the fee per included native unit at full allowance use. It remains a message, credit or conversation measure. It excludes extra requirements and is not a measured cost per successfully resolved customer request.
The more practical decision is often between adjacent tiers or a tier and optional extra usage. Our exact-plan pages retain the chosen tariff, while the general comparison can select the lowest reviewed eligible subtotal. Read the plan name and consumption assumption with the amount.
Questions before you choose
What is the average price of an AI customer service agent?
This reviewed catalogue does not establish a representative market average. Products bill different units and require different software. A scoped workload comparison is more informative than averaging incompatible entry fees.
Can I compare cost per inquiry across all vendors?
Only where the native-unit conversion and required plan conditions are established. Otherwise the page shows the subscription or unit-rate reference and labels the inquiry estimate as unavailable.
Is the 12-month budget a price forecast?
No. It repeats the selected monthly workload at the currently reviewed AI price. It does not predict vendor price changes, seasonality or a full annual cash commitment.
Why do some estimates stop after a day?
Pricing assertions have a freshness target. If the approved evidence is too old, numerical workload estimates pause until the source is reviewed. A fresh page fetch alone does not reapprove a price.
Sources and comparison method
We aggregate attributed vendor prices and product statements. No independent product tests are claimed. The initial list uses the documented requirements for this page; exact-plan access and full required costs can remain unconfirmed. Each provider profile retains dated pricing and feature statements.
Editorial scope reviewed 2026-10-25. Individual price statements retain their own capture dates.
Methodology, sources & limitations
We aggregate source-backed prices and feature statements. We do not independently test products. Each quote retains its plan, billing unit, source date and assumptions. Credits, messages, tickets and resolved outcomes are different measures. We do not assume a resolution rate.
For each provider, we show the lowest reviewed monthly AI subtotal that covers the modelled usage and documented team size. That does not establish support for a particular channel or action. Published entry prices can apply to a smaller team than yours; the included team allowance is shown beside them.
A 12-month AI budget repeats your current monthly workload at today's reviewed prices. It is not a prediction of future prices, an annual payment commitment or a complete first-year quote. Missing required fees and setup costs remain unknown.
